Standardized Test Prep

for Learners Who Are Anything But Standard

FAQ

How many hours do you usually work with each student?

It all depends on where the student is and what the end-goal is, but in general our students spend between 12 and 36 session hours.

Students will also handle individualized assignments and strategically-timed practice tests to supplement the learning.

What standardized tests can you help me with?

Our method is easily applicable to practically any standardized test, including ISEE and SSAT (for secondary school admissions); GED, SAT, and ACT (for college admissions); GRE, GMAT, and LSAT (for graduate school admissions); and TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE (for English proficiency). Of course, our method fundamentally is very applicable to everyday schoolwork as well.

How is Lettuce Learn different from other test prep services?

Most preparatory services for standardized tests have no choice but to provide generalized guidelines and unspecific explanations, which are not only confusing but even detrimental to students who struggle to make sense of vague instructions.

Our method, on the other hand, focuses on helping you identify patterns and follow simple rules to logically deduce the correct answer, making each question a mini-game.

How many coaches will I be working with?

Most students will have one-on-one learning with an assigned coach who has particular expertise in supporting students with similar conditions and/or backgrounds.

Each student (and parents) will also have ongoing communication with an assigned evaluator, who serves to advise both the family and the assigned coach in continuously optimizing the study plan.

What if I’m not fluent in English?

Our method is designed to effectively minimize the disadvantage that comes with lacking fluency in English and/or unfamiliarity with Americanized education.

In addition to our many multilingual coaches, we are connected worldwide with an exhaustive network of learning coaches and test prep masters. It’s as easy as asking!

I don’t have any testing accommodations ready for my learning differences.

Lettuce Learn’s senior staff has worked extensively with national mental health centers, psychiatrists, and counselors who can help with not only diagnosing the learning differences, but also getting proper testing accommodations, such as extended testing time, separate testing space, assistive technology, human reader support, and so on.

In cooperation with our partners, we will provide customized guidance that impeccably addresses your exact conditions and accommodations.
